St. Francis Borgia Knights (Washington, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lutheran Cougars (St. Peters, MO), 61-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Francis Borgia upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Montgomery County (Montgomery City, MO) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Montgomery County won 53-51 in their recent non-league bout against Hogan Prep Charter (Kansas City, MO)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record.
