The McLoughlin Pioneers (Milton-Freewater, OR) basketball felled the visiting Walla Walla Valley Academy Knights (College Place, WA), 63-45 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Pioneers (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Vale (Vale, OR). The Vikings go into the 3A Eastern Oregon test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Vale went down by New Plymouth (New Plymouth, ID), 76-46, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Tri-Cities Prep for a 2B Eastern Washington - East test on Thursday, January 4. Walla Walla Valley Academy will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 83-50 non-league win over Medical Lake (Medical Lake, WA). The Jaguars record now stands at 10-0.
