The Purcell Marian Cavaliers basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Mt. Healthy Fighting Owls to 51 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clark Montessori for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Purcell Marian will meet a Cougars team coming off a 63-53 non-league loss to Miami Valley Christian Academy (Cincinnati, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 3-5.
The Fighting Owls (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Shroder Paideia Academy (Cincinnati, OH). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record.
