In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host New London Tigers (New London, IA), by a count of 87-42.
The Panthers (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against Fairfield (Fairfield, IA). The Trojans go into the Southeast outing with a 1-9 record. In their last outing, Fairfield was crushed by Holy Trinity Catholic (Fort Madison, IA), 69-44, in a non-league outing.
