Ohio High School Basketball - South Webster thwarts Vinton County

The South Webster Jeeps (South Webster, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH), 71-60 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Jeeps (9-0) will now prepare for their test against Wheelersburg (Wheelersburg, OH). The Pirates go into the Southern Ohio II test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Wheelersburg went down by Jackson (Jackson, OH), 57-54, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to McClain for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Vinton County will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 44-32 non-league loss to Clinton-Massie (Clarksville, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 1-8.
