Chapin Huskies (El Paso, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Alamogordo Tigers (Alamogordo, NM), 74-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Chapin upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Huskies host Horizon (El Paso, TX) to play the Scorpions in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Scorpions come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Horizon won 52-10 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain View (El Paso, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Tularosa Wildcats (Tularosa, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Alamogordo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 40-30 non-league win over Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM).
