The Varnum Whippets (Seminole, OK) basketball knocked off the host Asher Indians (Asher, OK), 52-38 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Whippets (11-1) will now prepare for their test against Macomb (Macomb, OK). The Hornets go into the Little River test with a 1-10 record.
The Indians now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Maud for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. Asher will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 45-20 non-league loss to Maysville (Maysville, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 4-4.
