In Tuesday's non-league outing, the St. Michael Catholic Cardinals (Fairhope, AL) basketball squad felled the host Baldwin County Tigers (Bay Minette, AL), by a margin of 39-30.
The Cardinals (14-1) will now prepare for their outing against Orange Beach (Orange Beach, AL). The Makos go into the 4A Area 1 outing with a 10-11 record. In their last outing, Orange Beach was beaten by Foley (Foley, AL), 36-30, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Spanish Fort for a 6A Area 2 outing on Friday, January 5. Baldwin County will clash with a Toros squad coming off a 56-51 non-league win over Fairhope (Fairhope, AL). The Toros record now stands at 3-15.
