Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Barnstable Red Hawks (Hyannis, MA) and the visiting Monomoy Sharks (Harwich, MA), saw Barnstable's basketball squad overcome Monomoy by a tally of 62-45.

With the victory, Barnstable improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Red Hawks travel to Cape Cod Academy (Osterville, MA) to confront the Seahawks in a Cape & Islands challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Sharks confront the Wareham Vikings (Wareham, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Monomoy will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
