The Brookfield Bobcats (Brookfield, CT) basketball crushed the visiting Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT), 58-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bobcats (3-4) will now prepare for their test against New Milford (New Milford, CT). The Green Wave go into the Southwest - Patriot test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, New Milford was trounced by Immaculate (Danbury, CT), 46-45, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Terryville for a Berkshire test on Friday, January 5. Thomaston will encounter a Kangaroos squad coming off a 55-21 league win over Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT). The Kangaroos record now stands at 2-4.
