In Tuesday's league outing, the St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV), by a count of 89-30.
The Red Dragons (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Riverside (Belle, WV). The Warriors go into the Mountain State outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Riverside was crushed by Hurricane (Hurricane, WV), 56-34, in a league outing.
The Cougars now hold a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to South Charleston for a Mountain State outing on Thursday, January 4. Capital will clash with a Black Eagles squad coming off a 71-20 league loss to George Washington (Charleston, WV). The Black Eagles record now stands at 0-8.
