Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Carroll Chargers (Fort Wayne, IN), 65-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Norwell upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Knights travel to Leo (Leo, IN) to play the Lions in a Northeast 8 bout on Friday, January 5. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 10-5. Leo won 44-36 in their recent non-league bout against Prairie Heights (LaGrange, IN)

Next up, the Chargers play the Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger Saints (Fort Wayne, IN) in a Summit bout, on Friday, January 5. Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 48-34 non-league loss to NorthWood (Nappanee, IN).
