The North Michigan Christian Academy Comets basketball team scored 35 points and restricted the host Cedarville Trojans to 30 in the Comets non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Comets now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maplewood Baptist Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. North Michigan Christian Academy will battle a Black Bears team coming off a 54-15 non-league win over Harbor Light Christian (Harbor Springs, MI). The Black Bears record now stands at 4-1.

The Trojans (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against International Academy (Flint, MI). The Phoenix come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, International Academy was nudged by New Standard Academy (Flint, MI), 45-38, in a league contest.
