New York High School Basketball - Cornwall Central can't hold off Monroe-Woodbury

The Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Cornwall Central Dragons to 42 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Crusaders now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Bush for a Section 9 Orange County I contest on Wednesday, January 3. Monroe-Woodbury will battle a Bushmen team coming off a 70-63 non-league win over Wallkill (Wallkill, NY). The Bushmen record now stands at 6-0.
The Dragons (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Warwick (Warwick, NY). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Warwick was nudged by Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY), 69-42, in a non-league contest.
