With the victory, Evans upgrades its record to 8-16 on the campaign. The Eagles host Ebarb (Noble, LA) to play the Rebels in a C District 3 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 3-18. Ebarb lost 63-31 in their recent non-league bout against Converse (Converse, LA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Vinton Lions (Vinton, LA) in a 2A District 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. DeQuincy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 41-35 non-league loss to Johnson Bayou (Cameron, LA).
