The Electra Tigers basketball team (Electra, TX), was nudged 30-26 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Guthrie Jaguars (Guthrie, TX)
The Jaguars now possess a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patton Springs for a 1A Region I District 5 battle on Friday, January 5.
The Tigers (13-7) will now prepare for their battle against Northside (Vernon, TX). The Indians come into the 1A Region II District 16 battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Northside was nudged by Munday (Munday, TX), 39-13, in a league battle.
