The Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting West Central Trojans to 54 in the Huskies non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Huskies now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dell Rapids for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Elk Point-Jefferson will battle a Quarriers team coming off a 68-28 non-league loss to Canton (Canton, SD). The Quarriers record now stands at 1-7.
The Trojans (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Tea (Tea, SD). The Titans come into the non-league contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Tea prevailed over Vermillion (Vermillion, SD), 51-42, in a league contest.
