Fairfield Falcons (Goshen, IN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Garrett Railroaders (Garrett, IN), 43-37 in a league bout.
With the victory, Fairfield upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Falcons host Eastside (Butler, IN) to play the Blazers in a Northeast Corner bout on Friday, January 5. The Blazers come into the bout with a record of 14-2. Eastside won 54-51 in their recent non-league bout against DeKalb (Waterloo, IN)
Next up, the Railroaders play the Central Noble Cougars (Albion, IN) in a Northeast Corner bout, on Friday, January 5. Garrett will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 41-33 non-league win over Bremen (Bremen, IN).
