McKenzie Rebels (McKenzie, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gleason Bulldogs (Gleason, TN), 71-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McKenzie upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Rebels travel to McEwen (McEwen, TN) to clash with the Warriors in a 1A District 12 bout on Friday, January 5. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 9-5. McEwen lost 57-42 in their recent non-league bout against Clarksville (Clarksville, TN)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Dresden Lions (Dresden, TN) in a 1A District 14 bout, on Friday, January 5. Gleason will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 57-28 non-league win over Bradford (Bradford, TN).
