Lincoln-King Academy Eagles (Detroit, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting University Prep Science & Math Cobra (Detroit, MI), 47-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lincoln-King Academy upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Edison Academy (Detroit, MI) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 13-0. Edison Academy won 48-45 in their recent non-league bout against Western (Parma, MI)

Next up, the Cobra play the Academy for Business & Tech Gators (Melvindale, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. University Prep Science & Math will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
