Maryland High School Basketball - Shalom Christian Academy ripped by Mountain Ridge

The Mountain Ridge Miners basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Shalom Christian Academy Flames to 16 in the Miners non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Miners now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Hill for a Appalachian Mountain contest on Thursday, January 4. Mountain Ridge will battle a Sentinels team coming off a 57-40 non-league loss to Berlin Brothersvalley (Berlin, PA). The Sentinels record now stands at 0-7.

The Flames (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Maryland School for the Deaf (Frederick, MD). The Orioles enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Maryland School for the Deaf triumphed over Bishop Walsh (Cumberland, MD), 51-33, in a non-league contest.
