In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Taos Tigers basketball team scored a decisive 73-20 triumph over the Gallup Bengals.

In their next game, the Tigers meet the Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 5. Taos will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Bobcats enter the match with a 5-0 record after their 73-27 non-league win over Newcomb (Newcomb, NM).
