The Thornwood Thunderbirds basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Perspectives-IIT/Joslin Wolves to 46 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dunbar for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4.

The Wolves (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Brooks (Chicago, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Brooks was nudged by Kenwood (Chicago, IL), 67-27, in a league contest.
