Urbana Hawks (Ijamsville, MD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host South Hagerstown Rebels (Hagerstown, MD), 54-53 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Urbana upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Frederick (Frederick, MD) to play the Cadets in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Cadets come into the bout with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Rebels play the Boonsboro Warriors (Boonsboro, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. South Hagerstown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
