The Madison Mavericks held off the visiting East Central Hornets soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league match.
The Mavericks now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren for a non-league game on Thursday, January 4. Madison will play a Warriors squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Brandeis (San Antonio, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.
The Hornets (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Lanier (San Antonio, TX). The Voks go into the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
