The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Atlas Prep (Dallas, TX) and the host Alcuin Hawks (Dallas, TX), observed Atlas Prep's basketball team overcome Alcuin by a margin of 55-42.

The (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Wylie Prep Academy (Wylie, TX). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Wylie Prep Academy defeated Clariden (Southlake, TX), 76-24, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the Garland Christian Academy Swordsmen (Garland, TX) in a TAPPS 2A District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Alcuin will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record.
