The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Amity Warriors (Amity, OR) and the visiting Horizon Christian Hawks (Tualatin, OR), observed Amity's basketball team edge Horizon Christian by a score of 71-69.
The Warriors (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sheridan (Sheridan, OR). The Spartans come into the 3A PacWest challenge with a 3-3 record.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Valley Catholic Valiants (Beaverton, OR) in a 3A Lewis & Clark challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Horizon Christian will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record.
