The Venice Gondoliers basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Arleta Mustangs to 59 in the Gondoliers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Gondoliers now have a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Bishop Alemany for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Venice will confront a Warriors team coming off a 73-47 non-league loss to Leuzinger (Lawndale, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 12-3.

With the loss, Arleta falls to 9-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Gardena (Gardena, CA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 6-9. Gardena won 45-29 in their recent non-league game against University (Los Angeles, CA)
