DeSales Colts (Louisville, KY) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Bluegrass United Bluehawks (Lexington, KY), 69-48 in a non-league match.

With the victory, DeSales advances its record to 6-7 on the year. The Colts host Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, January 3. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 5-6. Bullitt Central won 79-45 in their recent non-league match against Valley (Louisville, KY)

The Bluehawks now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cumberland Christian Home Educators for a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. Bluegrass United will face a Hawks squad coming off a 93-52 non-league loss to Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY). The Hawks record now stands at 12-7.
