In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Junction City Tigers basketball team scored a good 59-50 triumph over the Madras White Buffaloes.
The Tigers (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Henley (Klamath Falls, OR). The Hornets enter the non-league match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Henley was dropped by Valley Catholic (Beaverton, OR), 63-36, in a non-league match.
The White Buffaloes now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Catholic for a non-league match on Friday, January 3. Madras will face a Valiants squad coming off a 63-36 non-league win over Henley (Klamath Falls, OR). The Valiants record now stands at 5-3.
