The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Palmdale Academy Charter School Jaguars (Palmdale, CA) and the host Lakeview Charter Lions (Sylmar, CA), observed Palmdale Academy Charter School's basketball team overwhelm Lakeview Charter by a margin of 65-28.

The Jaguars (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Desert (Edwards AFB, CA). The Scorpions enter the non-league match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Desert was crushed by Nordhoff (Ojai, CA), 52-46, in a non-league match.

The Lions now own a 0-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Oaks CES for a North Valley match on Wednesday, January 8. Lakeview Charter will meet a Vanguards squad coming off a 57-14 non-league loss to Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology (Sun Valley, CA). The Vanguards record now stands at 0-3.
