Maine High School Basketball - Leavitt holds off Maine Central Institute

The Leavitt Hornets basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Maine Central Institute Huskies to 52 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Hornets now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Poland for a B South game on Saturday, January 4.
With the loss, Maine Central Institute falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Huskies host Belfast (Belfast, ME) to confront the Lions in a B North game on Thursday, January 9. The Lions go into the game with a record of 5-3.
