New Mexico High School Basketball - Legacy Academy can't hold off Mesilla Valley Christian School

The Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers nipped the host Legacy Academy Silverbacks basketball squad by a final score of 38-36 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next, the SonBlazers face the Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league outing, on Friday, January 3. Mesilla Valley Christian School will attempt to upgrade on its 6-0 season record. The Coyotes come into the contest with a 3-7 record after their 55-46 non-league win over Tse' Yi' Gai (Cuba, NM).

In their next game, the Silverbacks battle the Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Legacy Academy will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 66-49 non-league loss to Silver (Silver City, NM).
