In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Neville Tigers basketball team scored a big 64-40 win over the Mansfield Wolverines.
The Tigers (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bossier (Bossier City, LA). The Bearkats come into the non-league contest with a 8-15 record. In their last contest, Bossier was trounced by Airline (Bossier City, LA), 64-51, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Wolverines encounter the Benton Tigers (Benton, LA) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 3. Mansfield will attempt to improve on its 10-15 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 17-12 record after their 53-51 non-league loss to Cedar Creek (Ruston, LA).
