In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils basketball team scored a close 36-30 triumph over the MMI Preparatory School .

The Blue Devils (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Nativity BVM (Pottsville, PA). The Green Wave go into the Schuylkill County 2 contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Nativity BVM was tipped by Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA), 75-56, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the battle the Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 2 contest, on Saturday, January 4. MMI Preparatory School will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 60-46 non-league loss to Old Forge (Old Forge, PA).
