Minnesota High School Basketball - Sibley East holds off New Ulm Cathedral

The Sibley East Wolverines basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds to 50 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wolverines now have a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Sibley East will confront a Lakers team coming off a 61-54 non-league loss to Barnesville (Barnesville, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, New Ulm Cathedral falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart (Hector, MN) to confront the Mustangs in a A Section 2 game on Friday, January 3. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 0-8. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart lost 68-45 in their recent league game against Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman (Granada, MN)
