Virginia High School Basketball - North Cross overwhelms Parry McCluer

The North Cross Raiders basketball team scored 76 points and limited the host Parry McCluer Fighting Blues to 48 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Raiders now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to New Covenant for a Virginia Independent game on Tuesday, January 7. North Cross will play a Gryphons team coming off a 64-40 non-league win over Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA). The Gryphons record now stands at 10-1.

With the loss, Parry McCluer falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Fighting blues host Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 0-9. Rockbridge County lost 72-68 in their recent non-league game against Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA)
