California High School Basketball - St. Francis sneaks past Red Mountain

January 2, 2025: La Canada, CA 91011

The St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA) basketball edged the visiting Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ), 55-50 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Golden Knights now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop O'Dowd for a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. St. Francis will play a Dragons team coming off a 51-46 non-league win over Pasadena (Pasadena, CA). The Dragons record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Red Mountain falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Mountain lions travel to West Point (Avondale, AZ) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 8-3. West Point won 61-48 in their recent non-league bout against Kellis (Glendale, AZ)
