The Sheridan Spartans basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Yamhill-Carlton Tigers to 52 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Toledo for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4.

With the loss, Yamhill-Carlton falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR) to confront the Pirates in a 3A Coastal Range game on Wednesday, January 8. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 6-4. Neah-Kah-Nie lost 79-52 in their recent non-league game against Portland Christian (Portland, OR)
