Kentucky High School Basketball - Newport Central Catholic holds off Bishop Brossart

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds basketball team scored a close 39-36 triumph over the Bishop Brossart Mustangs.

The Thoroughbreds (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
