The Sanford Spartans (Sanford, ME) basketball were winner over the visiting Biddeford Tigers (Biddeford, ME), 55-44 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Noble for a AA South bout on Tuesday, January 7.
With the loss, Biddeford falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Westbrook (Westbrook, ME) to play the Blue Blazes in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. The Blue Blazes go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Westbrook won 59-23 in their recent non-league bout against Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME)
