In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Columbian Tornadoes basketball team scored a good 44-34 win over the Vermilion Sailors.
The Tornadoes (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Sandusky (Sandusky, OH). The Blue Streaks come into the Sandusky Bay - Lake contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Sandusky defeated Huron (Huron, OH), 71-65, in a non-league contest.
