The Weequahic Indians basketball team scored 42 points and limited the host Ferris Bulldogs to 22 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Indians now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Science Park for a Super Essex - Freedom game on Tuesday, January 7.

With the loss, Ferris falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to North Arlington (North Arlington, NJ) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 4-2. North Arlington won 48-19 in their recent non-league game against Ferris (Jersey City, NJ)
