The Medomak Valley Panthers nipped the host Spruce Mountain Phoenix basketball squad by a final score of 38-34 in Thursday's league outing.
Next, the Panthers face the Camden Hills Windjammers (Rockport, ME) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 4. Medomak Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Windjammers enter the outing with a 6-2 record after their 66-42 league win over Messalonskee (Oakland, ME).
The Phoenix (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Region (Naples, ME). The Lakers enter the B South outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Lake Region was nipped by Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME), 52-34, in a non-league outing.
