The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV) and the visiting WestSide Renegades (Clear Fork, WV), observed Summers County's basketball team overwhelm WestSide by a score of 66-27.

The Bobcats (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mingo Central (Matewan, WV). The Miners come into the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Mingo Central trounced Tolsia (Fort Gay, WV), 74-32, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Renegades encounter the Tug Valley Panthers (Williamson, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. WestSide will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 77-13 league win over Van (Van, WV).
