The Meridian Warriors (Meridian, ID) basketball were winner over the visiting Emmett Huskies (Emmett, ID), 36-27 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain View for a bout on Saturday, January 11. Meridian will play a Mavericks team coming off a 41-24 league loss to Timberline (Boise, ID). The Mavericks record now stands at 8-6.
With the loss, Emmett falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Kuna (Kuna, ID) to play the Kavemen in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. The Kavemen go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Kuna lost 41-25 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain View (Meridian, ID)
