With the win, Wheeling Central Catholic improves its record to 7-7 on the year. The Maroon Knights host Meadville (Meadville, PA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Monday, January 13. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 7-15.

The Trojans now sport a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Montour for a game on Monday, January 13. McDowell will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 9-4.
