The Watauga Pioneers basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host A.C. Reynolds Rockets to 38 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Pioneers now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to South Caldwell for a non-league game on Friday, January 10. Watauga will play a Spartans team coming off a 66-24 non-league loss to McDowell (Marion, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, A.C. Reynolds falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Rockets host Enka (Enka, NC) to play the Jets in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Jets go into the game with a record of 0-6.
