Royal Falcons (Brookshire, TX) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Lamar Consolidated Mustangs (Rosenberg, TX), 6-2 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Royal moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX) to clash with the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Friday, January 3. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 0-1. Fort Bend Hightower lost 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Katy Taylor (Katy, TX)

The Mustangs now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Columbus for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 14.
