Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL), 68-52 in a league bout.
With the win, Evergreen Park upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Mustangs host Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 22. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 11-10. Plainfield Central won 60-59 in their recent league bout against Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL)
Next up, the Argonauts play the Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals (Blue Island, IL) in a South Suburban bout, on Friday, January 28. Argo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record.
